Paliyas is a small village of 2237 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paliyas depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 34.76% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paliyas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Paliyas's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01857900. The area of Paliyas is segregated as 34.76 hectares irrigated area, 2034.19 hectares unirrigated, the 99.45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 69 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Paliyas is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3309 and has total administration over 680 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
