Pale is a small village of 794 hectares in Mormugao Tehsil in South Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pale depends on VALPOI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pale is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Pale's pin code is 403712[5], and village code is 00012600. The area of Pale is segregated as 222.19 hectares unirrigated, the 60.84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Pale has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

Pale is a census village in the district of South Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 1157 and has total administration over 251 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 287 male, 95 female with 143 (37.43%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 104 males and 39 females. 15 males and 10 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 239 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VALPOI and South Goa to sell country liquor and make their living.
