Pakhroon is a small village of 292 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pakhroon depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pakhroon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Pakhroon's pin code is 314404[4], and village code is 03311800. The area of Pakhroon is segregated as 11.02 hectares irrigated area, 100.03 hectares unirrigated, the 57.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 124.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
