Pakdiya is a small village of 61.82 hectares in Bansdih Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pakdiya depends on Bansdih (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Pakdiya's pin code is 277219[4], and village code is 09272000. The area of Pakdiya is segregated as 22.158 hectares irrigated area, 9.696 hectares unirrigated area. the 11.384 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 18.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.
