Paharpura is a small village of 200 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paharpura depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 26.11% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Paharpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paharpura's pin code is 322218[4], and village code is 01248900. The area of Paharpura is segregated as 184.27 hectares irrigated area, 1.77 hectares unirrigated, remaining 13.95 hectare area not available for cultivation.
