Pagara is a small village of 150 hectares in Arnod Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pagara depends on Nimbahera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pagara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pagara's pin code is 312619[4], and village code is 03663900. The area of Pagara is segregated as 36.74 hectares irrigated area, 21.05 hectares unirrigated, the 66.57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nimbahera and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
