Padroo is a small village of 5594 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Padroo depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 2415.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Padroo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Padroo's pin code is 344801[4], and village code is 02164300. The area of Padroo is segregated as 2415 hectares irrigated area, 1603 hectares unirrigated, the 1180 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 396 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Padroo has One post office (Padru S.O) and Two Hundred public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Padroo is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 10528 and has total administration over 1695 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell leather shoes and make their living.
