Padikhurd is a small village of 284 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Padikhurd depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Padikhurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Padikhurd's pin code is 327604[4], and village code is 03448400. The area of Padikhurd is segregated as 232 hectares irrigated area, 15.2 hectares unirrigated, the 12.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.
