Padeli is a small village of 169 hectares in Satari Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Padeli depends on VALPOI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Padeli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Padeli's pin code is 403506[5], and village code is 00017300. The area of Padeli is segregated as 4.28 hectares irrigated area, 123.1 hectares unirrigated, the 0.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Padeli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Padeli is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 657 and has total administration over 145 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VALPOI and North Goa to sell cashew nuts and make their living.
