Padasala Kalan is a small village of 1523 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Padasala Kalan depends on Bilara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Padasala Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Padasala Kalan's pin code is 342605[4], and village code is 02012700. The area of Padasala Kalan is segregated as 166.21 hectares irrigated area, 916.42 hectares unirrigated, the 282.92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 157.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.
