Pachhar is a small village of 858 hectares in Chhipabarod Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pachhar depends on Chhipabarod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 112.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pachhar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pachhar's pin code is 325221[4], and village code is 03959900. The area of Pachhar is segregated as 219 hectares irrigated area, 458 hectares unirrigated, the 111 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 70 hectare area not available for cultivation.
