Pacheri Kalan is a small village of 2195 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pacheri Kalan depends on KHETRI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pacheri Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHETRI and Jhunjhunu to sell leather shoes and make their living.
