Paboo Nagar is a small village of 2176 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paboo Nagar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paboo Nagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paboo Nagar's pin code is 342023[4], and village code is 01981800. The area of Paboo Nagar is segregated as 290 hectares irrigated area, 1358 hectares unirrigated, the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 513 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell mats and make their living.
