Pabnah is a small village of 96 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pabnah depends on Kodihar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. The area of Pabnah is segregated as 384 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated area. the 13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kodihar and Allahabad to sell jaggery and make their living.
