Paa Kwasi is the stage name of Nana Kwasi Aryeh, a Ghanaian Highlife artiste[1].He won highlife song of the year at the 2018 Western Music Awards.[2] He is highly recognized as one of the leading Highlife artiste in Ghana[3]
Biography
Nana Kwasi Aryeh was born in Accra-Ghana, but hails from Axim in the Western Region of Ghana.
He studied at Takoradi Senior High School where he gained his high school certificate. He continued his tertiary education at NIIT to earn a certificates in networking 2008.
He began his musical notes since High School days as rapper.
2010
The featuring with Gedeon Adu-Gyamfi brought a different fusion and he decided to collaborate with him and they released a single called "Walai Talai" [4].[5][6] produced by Extreme Beatz. From that hit single which sold and became an instant hit under Phibi Records. That bridged the gab drawing their attention to the chemistry and became one of the biggest music duo in Ghana called DOBBLE[7] which existed from 2010 to 2016[8][9][10]
They won the Most Popular Song of the year at the 2017.[11]Ghana Music Awards and a whole lot of achievement to their credit.
