Oyeleke Ajiboye is a Nigerian businessman and academic in the real estate sector. He is the founder of Efficacy Construction Company, a firm specializing in real estate development and construction. He has been featured in Nigerian media outlets such as ThisDay, Channels TV, and Vanguard (Nigeria). Ajiboye has educational qualifications in engineering, business administration, construction management, housing and estate development, behavioral finance, social housing, and law. He is also the founder of the Oyeleke Ajiboye Foundation, which focuses on education and economic empowerment initiatives..[1]

Early life and Education

Oyeleke was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He attended Niger Pre-Age International Home School and later studied at Command Secondary School, Ikeja, before transferring to Community Grammar School, Ipaja, Lagos. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Akoka.[2]

He later obtained a Master of Project Management from The Project Management College in the UK, an MBA in International Business Management from Lincoln University (California), and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Salford in Manchester, UK. Oyeleke also holds a PhD in Housing and Estate Development and is pursuing a second PhD in Behavioral Finance at the Aston Business School, Birmingham, UK.[3]

He has completed executive education programs at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Tufts University. At Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, he studied investment decisions and behavioral finance, along with courses in negotiation, business leadership, and strategy. His MIT program focused on mediation and business implementation, while his studies at Tufts covered organizational dynamics and strategic management.[4]

Career

Oyeleke founded Efficacy Engineering in 2001, which later became part of the Efficacy Group. In 2008, he established Efficacy Homes Limited, serving as Executive Director from 2009 to 2013. In 2016, following a rebranding, the company became Efficacy Construction Company Limited, with Oyeleke serving as Managing Director.[5]

As of 2023, Efficacy Group includes subsidiaries such as Efficacy Construction Company Limited, Law & Logan Energy and Engineering Limited, Metro Agro-Food Processing Limited, and Leron Concepts Limited.[6]

Philanthropy

Oyeleke founded the Oyeleke Ajiboye Foundation (OAF), a non-governmental organization focused on education and economic empowerment. In 2011, the foundation launched the Nurture a Dream scholarship program, providing financial support to secondary and tertiary education students. The foundation also offers vocational training and mentorship programs for underserved communities.[7]
