Otello Diotallevi is the former chief technician of Bolex, a manufacturer of motion picture camera manufacturer based in Yverdon, Switzerland.[1] He retired in 2018 due to Swiss work regulations, after having served the company for a career of 46 years.[2][3]
Biography
Diotallevi started working for Bolex in 1971, as a mechanic apprentice in the company.[4][5] He was factory trained as a Bolex technician in his teens, and spent the best part of 46 years as a master technician. In 2017, Diotallevi was still active for the company for service and maintenance most famous camera reference.[6][7][8] He is fluent in Italian and French. Diotallevi, even though officially retired, still acts as the chief advisory consultant in his mechanical field.

He appears in a trailer of a Swiss documentary project still in production, in which he talks about the history of the company and the products. He comments about some historical inside of the company during his career.[9][10]
