Oskar Källner

Oskar Källner, born March 12 1978 in Jönköping, is a Swedish science fiction and fantasy writer. His first book was the self-published fantasy novel Drakhornet, published in 2011.[1] In 2017, he published his first illustrated children's book, together with Marta Leonhardt.[2] In 2020, the first two books in his planned ten-book series Imperiets arvingar (Heirs to the Empire) was published by Rabén & Sjögren.[3] Publishing rights were sold a number of countries before the series had been published,[4] including Norway, Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Lithuania and the United States.[5]

He was awarded Alvar Appeltoffts Minnespris in 2021.
