Orwariya is a small village of 608 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Orwariya depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.17% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Orwariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Orwariya's pin code is 314034[4], and village code is 03301800. The area of Orwariya is segregated as 36.24 hectares irrigated area, 85.01 hectares unirrigated, the 453.43 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell juggary and make their living.
