Orlando College was a private, not-for-profit, non-sectarian, and coeducational college that was situated in the city of Orlando in the state of Florida. The university, which first began in 1918 under the name Jones College, was established as a degree-awarding institution by the State of Florida in order to fulfil the school's mission of offering opportunities for higher education to residents of the Central Florida area. The institution went through a name change in 1982, being known as Orlando College. In 1995, following a decade of expansion, the college was shut down and sold to Corinthian Colleges, Inc.

It was possible to see the Orlando College campus from Interstate 4, since it was situated on Diplomatic Circle, to the north of Lee Road. Following the school's decision to close its doors, a portion of the physical plant was put up for auction and, in 2001, after many years of being abandoned, it was converted into a retail mall. Florida Metropolitan University presently occupies the surviving structures from Florida Metropolitan College.

The Orlando College campus was made up of many administrative and academic buildings. In the Diplomat Building, there were both cafeterias and restaurants accessible. (In 1987, a small building that served as an extension of the school's medical programme was added to its main campus). The school did not provide student housing and was known as a "commuter college." However, many nearby apartment complexes became unofficial "dormitories" for Orlando College students.
