Oontra is a small village of 1287 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Oontra depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 53.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Oontra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Oontra's pin code is 305023[4], and village code is 02501500. The area of Oontra is segregated as 225 hectares irrigated area, 615 hectares unirrigated, the 47 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 400 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Oontra is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4540 and has total administration over 780 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
