Ookami Mio (Japanese: 大神ミオ, Chinese: 大神澪....[1]) is a Japanese VTuber affiliated with Hololive Production. She is part of the Hololive GAMERS unit, along with Shirakami Fubuki , Nekomata Okayu , and Inugami Korone .

Overview

Ookami Mio started her livestreaming activities on December 7, 2018[2]. She commonly does gaming and karaoke streams, and has a weekly news stream about Hololive members' activities. She also posts song covers and original songs. Her viewers are known as Miofam (Japanese: ミオファ), coming from "Mio-family," referencing her motherly personality. Her nicknames include Mio-mama and Miosha.

Mio's design was created by Izumi Sai,[2] and her original Live2D model was rigged by rariemonn[3]. She is a wolf girl with long black hair, including a red stripe on her left side. She has a black tail, tipped with white, and black wolf ears, with white fur on the inside.

  • 5/13, It was revealed Mio had been hospitalized since the 28th, as she needed long-term medical care. Despite her symptoms improving, it was announced she wouldn't be able to participate in the planned Hololive GAMERS event[16].
  • 6/30, Resumed activities. During a livestream she revealed she had acute pancreatitis, and had a fever of 38 to 39 degrees Celsius that continued for about two weeks. Due to abdominal pain that made breathing painful, and therefore her breathing shallow, she had been temporarily put on oxygen[17].

2025
