Seng-Huat Ong, IEEE Fellow, serves as a Professor in the Department of Actuarial Science and Applied Statistics at UCSI University in Malaysia. Zijian Zeng is his Phd student. His research endeavors focus on a variety of areas[1], including statistical modeling and inference[2], the theory of discrete distributions, analysis of images, data mining and data science through clustering techniques, as well as simulation, computation, and the study of differential equations[3]
