Omkar Palav (born September 7, 1986) is an Indian Guinness World Record holder, currently residing in Australia. Known as the "Typing Man of Australia,"[1][2] he achieved the record for typing the alphabet with his nose in 20.51 seconds.[3] [4]
Early Life and Education
Born and brought up in Lalbaug, Mumbai,India. Omkar Palav has been dynamic, proficient, and result-oriented throughout his career. He graduated with Distinction in Engineering in Information Technology from Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, in 2008.
Career
With over 15 years of experience as an IT professional, Palav is currently working for AMP Limited in Adelaide, Australia.
Guinness World Record
On July 20, 2024, Omkar set his first official Guinness World Record by typing the alphabet with his nose in 20.51 seconds.[5] This record was achieved in Adelaide, South Australia, and was officially verified by Guinness World Records adjudicators.[6][7][8]
