Olga Miler
Olga Miler (born 1976) is a Swiss-Czech entrepreneur, columnist, and trustee to the Cherie Blair Foundation.
Career
In 2007 when working for an international financial institution, she was responsible for product development, later joined the sustainable investing and philanthropy department. In 2013 she co-founded and developed the institution's change program "Unique".[1], designed to to better serve female clients, increase one million women’s financial confidence and help the UN reach its Sustainable Development Goal number 5: gender equality and empowerment of women and girls.
In 2019, she co-founded a UK start-up together with Jude Kelly, to increase financial literacy amongst women. Jacki Zehner invested as a business angel investor[2].
Writing and speaking
Miler was portrayed in a documentary by Swiss national television[3] and is featured regularly by the press both in UK[4] as well as in Switzerland[5][6].
She held key note speeches at the Global Banking Alliance Summit[7], the Euromoney Banking Awards in London[8], or the Women of the World Festival at various occasions in London.
In collaboration with Frauenzentrale Zürich, she organizes larger scale educational events in the area of financial literacy and delivers key notes.
Recognitions and awards
In 2021, she won the FemBiz Award Switzerland 2021 in the category "Communication" and was listed in the category "Female focused start-up" by TechRound’s Top Female Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2021.[9][10]
