Ogala is a small village of 1881 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ogala depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 864.30% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ogala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Ogala's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02265800. The area of Ogala is segregated as 864.3 hectares irrigated area, 740.07 hectares unirrigated, remaining 276.36 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ogala has One post office (Ogala B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Ogala has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ogala is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2221 and has total administration over 382 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
