Odela is a small village of 301 hectares in Ramgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Odela depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 18.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Odela is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Odela's pin code is 301410[4], and village code is 00839400. The area of Odela is segregated as 27 hectares irrigated area, 161 hectares unirrigated, the 66 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 47 hectare area not available for cultivation.
