Ochuko Emuakpeje is a two-time Nigeria National Chess Champion[1] who hails from Delta State, Nigeria. Ochuko taught himself to play chess in the 1999. He has participated in many chess tournaments within Nigeria. He first won the Nigeria National Chess Championship organized by Nigeria Breweries Plc in 2010 and became a Certified FIDE Instructor (FI) in 2012. In December of 2014, he got his first FIDE rating (2114). Ochuko repeated the feat he had in 2010 by winning the [Nigeria National Chess championship] for the second time in 2015. He was a former Chess Coach at Delta State Chess Association. He represented Nigeria[2] at the Chess Olympiad Baku 2016[3].
