Oceana Ling-Kurie, or Lin Pei-rong, (born August 20, 2000) is a Taiwanese actor, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Taiwan 2023.[1]She will represent Taiwan at the Miss International 2024 pageant in Japan.
Early Life and Education
Ling-Kurie was born and raised in North America. Her father is Caucasian and her is Taiwanese. At the age of 9, she moved to Taiwan.
Ling-Kurie graduated from the University of Toronto in 2022. Currently, she is a performing arts graduate student at the National Taiwan Normal University. [1]
Pageantry
Miss Chinese Toronto 2021
In 2021, Ling-Kurie won the title of Miss Chinese Toronto, earning the right to compete in the Miss Chinese International Pageant held in Hong Kong. However, the international competition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Miss Taiwan 2023
After four months of preliminary events, Ling-Kurie was crowned Miss Taiwan 2023 on December 11, 2023 in Taipei. Throughout four preliminary competitions and the final competition, Ling-Kurie was rewarded six other special awards: Miss Photogenic, Best Spokesperson, Best Stage Presence, Best in Swimsuit Second Place, Best Style Second Place, and Miss Talent Third Place. Miss International 2024
Ling-Kurie will represent Taiwan at the Miss International 2024 pageant in Japan.
