Nomy Xu
Nomy(Zihao) Xu is a Chinese director, screenwriter and writer. He is the scriptwriter of "Detective Chinatown 3".[1]
Personal life
Childhood Began serializing his novel " The Penguin Diaries" on the Internet in the fifth grade, and interacted with netizens in an adult tone while doing so. Original paper games in the third grade and even designed exams about worldview.
The Road to Accumulation Unlike candidates who aim at film as the goal of their schooling, Nomy Xu started as an art student and applied across disciplines to the Central Academy of Drama and the Department of Theatre and Literature at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, gaining professional passes from the two highest art schools in the country without relevant professional training. If elementary school is the starting point of creativity, the beginning of accumulation is from his university days, when Nomy Xu went on exchange trips to Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, and New York, [2] and the local customs of the four places gave him a different life experience.[2]
Film and television creation After a thorough selection process, he took on the role of scriptwriter for "Detective Chinatown 3" and the web series, becoming one of the youngest co-creators of the "Detective Chinatown Universe". [3]He collaborated with Andy Lau as an original story writer, and will create a film universe with oriental characteristics.[4]
