Nohta is a small village of 850 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nohta depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 50.06% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nohta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Nohta's pin code is 304025[4], and village code is 02631600. The area of Nohta is segregated as 122.56 hectares irrigated area, 412.03 hectares unirrigated, the 111.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 135.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nohta is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1854 and has total administration over 351 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell carpet and make their living.
