No Wrong Numbers is a Mexican alternative funk rock band, founded in 2014[1] in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.[2] Currently, the band is based in Los Angeles. The band is led by Manolo Osorio (vocals and guitar), along with various collaborators throughout their career. [3]
They have performed at major festivals such as Vive Latino[4], House of Vans, [2] [5] , and have opened for Molotov at the Palacio de los Deportes. [6] No Wrong Numbers has received praise for their live energy and their ability to connect with the audience. In terms of awards and recognitions, they won first place in the Sessions by VANS contest, where they were evaluated by judges such as Theresa Wayman from Warpaint.[7]
They have recorded and released several singles and albums.[8] Among their most notable releases are their album 'Behind the Lenses' [1] [8] and the single 'Whiskey Jeans,' which received significant airplay on the Reactor 105.7 FM radio station in Mexico City.[9]
The lead single ,"You Stop My Heart," from the self-tilted EP, No Wrong Numbers' , was produced by the Argentinian producer Camilo Froideval. It was recorded at Topetitud Studios, in Mexico City.[10]
