Nirancal is a small village of 1985 hectares in Ponda Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nirancal depends on PONDA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nirancal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Nirancal's pin code is 403401[5], and village code is 00020900. The area of Nirancal is segregated as 50.63 hectares irrigated area, 565.8 hectares unirrigated, the 252.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 255.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nirancal has One post office (Nirankal B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Nirancal has Two banks and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

Nirancal is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 1772 and has total administration over 406 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PONDA and North Goa to sell cashew nuts and make their living.
