Nina de Gramont, also known by her pen name Marina Gessner,[1] is an American author of both adult fiction and young adult fiction. She has been published by G.P. Putnam's Sons Books for Young Readers[2] Algonquin Books,[3] and St. Martin's Press.[4] Her books include The Last September[3] and The Distance from Me to You[2], which has been optioned for a feature film by HBO Max and starring Sabrina Carpenter.[5]

Biography

Nina de Gramont lives in Wilmington, North Carolina and works as an assistant professor for the University of North Carolina Wilmington[6] She is married to David Gessner, who also works at the same university.[7] She received her B.A. at Colorado College and her M.F.A in creative writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.[8]
