Nina Wheeler Yoakum (born February 25, 1959) is a 2020 Democratic candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, for the 50th District running against Republican incumbent Rene "Coach P." Plasencia.[1]
Personal Life
Yoakum was born on Feburary 25, 1959. Yoakum graduated with a Bachelor's degree in addiction studies and psychology from the University of Central Missouri.[2] Before engaging in politics, Yoakum was a full-time employed substitute teacher for the Orange County Public School system.[3] She is a member of the Network of Gun Safety, and holds a current membership position for the OCPS Calendar Committee.

Yoakum began her political campaign for Florida House of Representatives District 50.
