Nimodara is a small village of 369 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nimodara depends on Kanor, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 40.55% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nimodara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nimodara's pin code is 312402[4], and village code is 03644700. The area of Nimodara is segregated as 46.55 hectares irrigated area, 196.39 hectares unirrigated, the 103.58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kanor and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
