Nimod is a small village of 686 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nimod depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nimod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nimod's pin code is 323026[3], and village code is 02711300. The area of Nimod is segregated as 252 hectares irrigated area, 98 hectares unirrigated, the 320 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell juggery and make their living.
