Nimbari Kalan is a small village of 1022 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nimbari Kalan depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 135.17% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nimbari Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Nimbari Kalan's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01859600. The area of Nimbari Kalan is segregated as 155.16 hectares irrigated area, 615.99 hectares unirrigated, the 45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 206 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
