Nils Lagergren, born July 27th 1965 in Täby, is a Swedish contemporary artist, best known for his shipwreck sculptures; miniature ships that he builds and then sinks to let nature and time work as his co-artists[1][2]. The wrecks are salvaged after 1-3 years, dried up and finalised as Ghost ship sculptures. The art project is called the Ghost Fleet Art Project and his artworks have been featured twice at Sweden's largest jury selected art exhibition Vårsalongen at Liljevalchs Art Gallery in Stockholm (2020[3][4][5][6] & 2022[7]), at Kalmar Art Museum (2021[8]) and at the international miniature art exhibition Small is Beautiful in London (2022)[9]
