Nikos Nikolopoulos (born April 21, 1976) is a Greek film director, cinematographer, photographer and visual artist. He has directed two feature films and several short films. His debut feature, POLK (2014), premiered at the 55th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (TIFF) and received the FIPRESCI Special Mention Award.[1] The film also earned him a 2015 Hellenic Film Academy nomination for Best First-Time Director.

His second feature, MUSA (2021), premiered at the 62nd Thessaloniki IFF and was selected for The Emerging Greeks Competition at the Greek Film Festival in Berlin.[2]

In addition to his work as a director, Nikolopoulos has worked for over 25 years as a set photographer on Greek and international film productions. He has collaborated with acclaimed directors such as David Cronenberg[3], Jeremy Podeswa, and Theo Angelopoulos.[4] As a cinematographer, he has contributed to films and performances by Romeo Castellucci and Dimitris Papaioannou.[5]

His visual art has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and internationally. He is a member of the Hellenic Film Academy[6] and serves as Vice-President of the Association of Greek Film Directors and Producers (ESPEK).
