Nikolai (Mykola) Udianskyi (Микола Удянський, born May 22, 1983, in Kharkiv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian IT entrepreneur, social activist and scientist, founder of Coinsbit cryptocurrency exchange[1], creator of Bitcoin Ultimatum (Bitcoin-fork)[2], Doctor of Philosophy in Law. In 2019, he was included in the list of the Top 10 CIS blockchain entrepreneurs on the first position.[3]

Biography

Udianskyi was born into a family of test engineer (father) and trade worker (mother).[4]

He graduated from Kharkiv High School No. 53, and in 2001-2003 served conscript service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Special Forces of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Intelligence (RCB).[4]

In 2009 he graduated from Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University (HNADU) with a degree in Highways and Airfields, in 2019 he graduated from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in Law and Cyber Security.[4]

In 2003-2006, Nikolai was the Commercial Director of Olivin Trading House (Kharkiv); from 2006 to 2014, he was engaged in the production and distribution of trading terminals.[4] In 2013, he founded the IT Prof-It, a company that develops cryptocurrency exchanges and other blockchain IT products.[5] In 2014, he founded Assur Insurance Company.[6] He also founded Coinsbit.io cryptocurrency exchange.[3][1] The exchange was named "The Best Exchange of 2018" at the international Blockchain Live Festival[3] and named "The Best Trading Platform Launched in 2018" at Asian Blockchain Life in 2019.[7][8]

In June 2019, he defended his PhD in Law on "Administrative and Legal Principles of Law Enforcement Cooperation in the Sphere of Corruption".[9][10]

In December 2019, Nikolai Udianskyi withdrew from Coinsbit, selling his stake in the business.[11] At the same time, he creates an international marketing and PR company PRMR.[12]

In January 2020, Nikolai Udianskyi and Coinsbit exchange organized the international blockchain conference “CHAIN 2020” in Hong Kong. With almost 14000 attendants, it became one of the largest in the blockchain sector.[13]

In February 2020, the Prof-It Company founded by Udianskyi, with the support of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinsbit created a Bitcoin fork named "Bitcoin Ultimatum".[2][14]

He is married and has two daughters and a son.[4]

Social activities

Udianskyi is the author of the idea and the founder of the residential complex EVO country club — a village in the suburbs of Kharkiv for living and work of IT specialists.[15][16]

Awards

In 2019, Hacker Noon included him on the first position in the list of the Top 10 CIS blockchain entrepreneurs.[3]
