Nihal Rajput is an actor in the Kannada film industry (also known as Sandalwood) in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. He has been active for nearly ten years. He is known for playing versatile acting roles and his ability to portray a wide range of characters. He is popularly known for his character in the Kannada blockbuster Chowka (2017). Nihal has also played the lead role in Kannada horror movie Trunk (2018) and has portrayed real-life business magnate Vijay Sankeshwar (Chairman and Founder of VRL)) in his multilingual Indian movie Vijayanand (2022). Nihal has also played roles in Kannada television soaps Bharathi (Zee Kannada), Ganga (Zee Kannada), and Anchor (Video Jockey). Hailing from the culturally rich city of Dharwad, Nihal represents a new breed of talent from the region of North Karnataka.
Early life and career
Nihal Rajput was born on 14thSeptember1988, in Dharwad, Karnataka. At a young age, he took an interest in acting and started participating in creative and cultural activities at school Basel Mission English medium high school and college Karnatak college dharwad.
Soon after completing his studies, Nihal started auditioning for anchoring roles in Kannada television shows. His breakthrough came in Kannadada digajaru in 2013 when he hosted the Kannadada Digajaru show on Amogha Channel. This led to more opportunities, and he appeared in several other television shows in the following years.
Career Highlights
One of Nihal Rajput's most notable roles came in 2017 when he played the negative lead in the critically and box office acclaimed Kannada film "Chowka." He received widespread praise for his portrayal for his charector. The Kannada film was a commercial success and earned several award nominations for best picture and won the Filmfare Best Kannada Film of the Year in 2017.
Nihal has also acted has lead actor in several other successful films, including "Trunk" (2018) and "Vijayanand" (2022).
Personal Life
