The Nigeria Climate Innovation Center is part of a global network of Climate Innovation Centers located in Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean, with support from the Federal government of Nigeria.[1][2][3]
Objective
The main objective of NCIC is the development and maintenance of the Nigerian Green Economy through the incubation and acceleration of climate technologies and innovations while offering entrepreneurial assistance, access to finance, the development of the innovation ecosystem, the creation of businesses, and the formulation and evaluation of policy. The NCIC now focuses on four key areas: waste management, smart agriculture, water management, and renewable energy.[2][1]
