Early Life and Youth Career
Nicholas Simpson was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. He began playing football at the age of seven, initially using a tennis ball with friends at school. He played junior football with Mosman FC and was selected for the Combined Independent Schools State Team at age 11.
Senior Career
At the age of 16, Simpson signed with Manly United U18s and U20s in Australia. At 17, he moved to Germany to pursue a professional football career. His early German clubs included:
