Nicholas Henslow Schrang (born September 9th, 1994) is a Canadian-American author and illustrator. His works include Twilight Road: Walking the Edge of the Universe, a novel released in 2025.
Early Life
Henslow Schrang was born on September 9th, 1994 in Chemainus, British Colombia. At a young age, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri as both of his parents were American-born citizens. Graduating Parkway Central High School in 2013, Nicholas had developed a taste for creative writing. Influences stretching from television sitcoms, anime, video games, and short form storytelling led him to study at the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a degree in television writing in 2015.
Career
In 2014, Nicholas worked in Hollywood, California as an executive assistant for Atmosphere Entertainment production company. Atmosphere Entertainment is credited with such TV and films as 300, Piranha 3D, Escape Plan and Power.
In June 2022, his article titled: 'Use Technology: Just Don't Let It Use You Back' was published in Mensa International's monthly periodical: Mensa Bulletin. The article explored subjects of overlying on technology out of convenience and how it 'weakens' the natural human spirit.
In 2025, Henslow Schrang released his first novel Twilight Road: Walking the Edge of the Universe.
Personal Life
Henslow Schrang lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
