Nicholas David Cully is a business development specialist with experience in wealth management, asset management, and investment strategies.[1] He currently serves as a Group Development Director at The Sovereign Group, located in Switzerland.[2] Cully is well-versed in Middle Eastern markets and business expansion and is a leading force in The Sovereign Group’s continued expansion efforts.
Education and Career
Nicholas David Cully received a bachelor’s degree in LLB (European) from Exeter University in 2005.[3] Cully also attended the Université de Rennes.[4]
Cully worked as a stockbroker and investment manager for Gibraltar Asset Management Limited.[5] He was also an Assistant Private Client Broker at Kilik & Co.[6]
Cully has worked at The Sovereign Group, based in Dubai and Switzerland, since 2010. As a Business Development Manager, he oversaw client portfolios and offered individualized advice on stock selection and investment strategy. He was then promoted to Group Development Director, in which he assists clients with asset protection and tax planning.[4] His daily responsibilities include overseeing more than 60 Business Development Managers across 20 countries and offices.[7]
He has led The Sovereign Group’s expansion into the Middle East (including Dubai, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi) with his market entry strategies.[8] In 2024, Cully announced a further expansion of service offerings in Saudi Arabia.[9]
In 2024, Nicholas David Cully was awarded an Institute of Directors (IoD) Diploma in Company Direction.[10]
Additional Activities
As part of his current role, Nicholas David Cully sits on several subsidiary boards within The Sovereign Group.[7] He engages with The Sovereign Art Foundation on several of their international initiatives.[3]
