Newai is a small village of 2157 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Newai depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Newai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Newai's pin code is 344032[4], and village code is 02143800. The area of Newai is segregated as 2019.34 hectares unirrigated, the 72.32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.
