New AutoMotive is a British think tank working to accelerate the transition to clean transport, primarily road transport[1]. The organisation was founded in 2020, and is registered in the UK as a Community Interest Company[2].
The organisation regularly publishes data and statistics on the subject of road transport decarbonisation, including electric vehicle sales data. New AutoMotive also engages in policy advocacy, promoting market-based policies that lead to a faster uptake of electric vehicles. The organisation is led by Ben Nelmes, and its board includes author of the UK's Climate Change Act, Bryony Worthington.
