Neura-O-Pequeno is a small village of 107 hectares in Tiswadi Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Neura-O-Pequeno depends on GOA VELHA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Neura-O-Pequeno is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Neura-O-Pequeno's pin code is 403104[5], and village code is 00008300. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GOA VELHA and North Goa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
