Nestiwas is a small village of 276 hectares in Amber Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nestiwas depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 24.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nestiwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nestiwas's pin code is 302028[4], and village code is 01583400. The area of Nestiwas is segregated as 24 hectares irrigated area, 12 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 113 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
